There's little doubt 2020 has been a memorable year, but not always for good reasons.
However, even in a year full of struggles and confusion, there have been moments of beauty. That certainly is true in agriculture.
Agweek wants to celebrate those moments, with your help.
Agweek wants you to send your photos of the beauty of agriculture from Jan. 1, 2020, to now. We want to see snow-covered pastures, frost-nipped fences, planting progress, crops, livestock, farm kids, harvest — if it happened on the farm, we're interested in it.
Entries open on Nov. 14 and close on Dec. 7. Voting will take place on Agweek's Facebook and Instagram pages from Dec. 11 until noon on Dec. 18.
Prizes will be awarded for the top photos. All photos will be featured on agweek.com. The top vote getters also will be featured in Agweek Magazine and on AgweekTV.
Photos must be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line “Agweek’s Beauty of Agriculture 2020.” One entry per person can be submitted through Dec. 7. Each photo should be accompanied by a one or two sentence description of the photo that does not give away the name of the entrant. The photo must have been taken by the person submitting it. Agweek will retain the right to use the photo in the future.
