The USMCA retains zero tariffs on most ag goods flowing among the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Progress in the new trade deal includes Canada agreeing to grant imported wheat the same access as Canadian wheat with the same requirements.

But the dairy industry was the big winner, as Canada will gradually eliminate its Class 7 pricing scheme for dairy products and allow more access to U.S. dairy products.
