MN farmer to compete in Super Bowl event
SWANVILLE, Minn. — Swanville, Minn.-area farmer Craig Roerick will travel to Minneapolis during Super Bowl week to compete alongside NFL stars of past and present in the Land O'Lakes Farm Bowl. Roerick of Roerview Dairy and five other farmers from around the country will be paired up with current and former NFL players — including Hall of Famer Jerome Bettis — for a farm-inspired competition to celebrate modern farmers and raise awareness of the importance of agriculture. Also joining the Land O'Lakes Farm Bowl event will be American Idol winner and performer Jordin Sparks as special sideline correspondent. Roerick will compete with a player to be named later.

"I look forward to competing and testing my skills alongside some great athletes and outstanding farmers."
