Tanker hauling cream overturns in Minnesota roundabout
WORTHINGTON, Minn. — Area law enforcement officers were called to a familiar location in Worthington, Minn., on Thursday morning, Nov. 9.
A tanker, which appeared to be hauling cream, tipped after trying to navigate the Minnesota 60 and Interstate 90 roundabout by JBS in east Worthington.
The cream spilled onto the highway while traffic continued to slowly navigate through the roundabout.
Thursday morning’s accident marks the third incident in that roundabout in two weeks. A Son-D-Farms truck hauling market pigs tipped on its side on Oct. 27, and a video of a camper approaching the roundabout too quickly and ramping it surfaced shortly thereafter.
The Worthington Police Department, Nobles County Sheriff’s Office and Minnesota State Patrol responded to the scene.
Injuries and other specific details were unknown at 10 a.m. Thursday.
