ND Farmers Union opens sixth Founding Farmers restaurant

JAMESTOWN, N.D. — The North Dakota Farmers Union, in partnership with Agraria LLC and the Farmers Restaurant Group, opened its sixth Founding Farmers restaurant Wednesday.

The restaurant is located in King of Prussia, Pa., making it the first Founding Farmers restaurant to open outside of the Washington, D.C., area.

The restaurant includes a bakery and cafe on the ground floor for walk-in guests, which is a different setup than the other five Founding Farmers restaurants. The second level seats 284 people and is separated into different dining rooms that replicate the different rooms in a farm house. There is a bar as well.

Mark Watne, North Dakota Farmers Union president, said the group plans to open a seventh restaurant in Reston, Va., next year.
