Minnesota Dairy Research and Promotion Council seeks candidates

ST. PAUL — The Minnesota Dairy Research and Promotion Council is seeking candidates to run for board positions across 11 districts.

Board member candidates should be active dairy farmers. Elected members will represent other dairy farmers in their respective districts and will make decisions regarding the expenditure of dairy checkoff funds.

Those interested in running for a board seat should contact their local nominating chairs by Wednesday, Sept. 20. After the deadline passes, a list of candidates will be available from the Minnesota Department of Agriculture. Election ballots will be mailed in late December.
