Viewers, quilters, bargain-seekers and collectors flock to the 30th Annual Indian Summer Quilt Show and Conference scheduled Friday through Sunday at the Holiday Inn, Fargo. Sponsored by the Quilters’ Guild of North Dakota, the three-day event features more than 35 classes and lectures, an exhibit of more than 180 quilts, daily demonstrations, a packed vendor area featuring quilt shops and related business from across North Dakota and Minnesota, the QGND Bodacious Bazaar featuring hand-crafted items, unfinished projects, ornaments, fabrics, a small quilt silent auction and more.
Officials say about 25 representatives of large farm and ranch corporations from Kazakhstan will tour feedlots throughout North Dakota and meet with cattle breeders and livestock scientists.
The announcement came at the Big Iron farm show, running this week at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds.
The Triple “C” 4-H club is having their annual Open Horse Show on Sunday, May 11, starting at 9 a.m. at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds in West Fargo. The event is the first open horse show held at the Fairgrounds this year.
