The Dickinson State University Foundation has established the Donald Dean Patterson memorial scholarship fund to be awarded to a DSU Department of Agriculture student who is pursuing a B.S. in Agricultural Studies, with a Soil Science option or soil minor, who shows good promise of leadership and academic ability.
Students pursuing a graduate degree, high school students preparing for college and undergraduates majoring in agriculture should consider applying for North Dakota Farm Bureau Promotion and Education Committee scholarships.
Minnesota growers of several specialty crops may qualify for scholarships to offset the cost of farm business management classes through a program administered by the Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA).
Stutsman County Farm Bureau awarded seven $500 scholarships to seven area seniors. Applicants must be attending college in North Dakota or a neighboring state and their parents must be Stutsman County Farm Bureau members. Scholarships are based on grade point average, high school and community activities and future career plans.
