RURAL REFLECTIONS little bitty
I have sought simplicity over the last few years. It is a slow process as you have to develop an appreciation for simplicity. One example might be when I enjoy the more subtle flavors of a hamburger... Posted on 7/5/14 at 6:16 AM
Decades ago, Val Farmer was giving a talk on rural psychology at the South Dakota State Fair in Huron when a reporter approached him to do a story. Farmer said yes, but wasn’t entirely happy with the way it turned out – and figured he could do better.
Dear Dr. Fox: I recently acquired a female Chihuahua from Canine Castaways. She is 5 years old. She can be very timid but gets quite vocal and aggravated when my husband gives me something or touches me.

Dear Dr. Fox: My 18-month-old black Lab mix (rescued two months ago) frequently has loose stools. Not watery, just loosely formed. He tested positive for giardia and then tested negative after being treated.
