For the past six years, the South Dakota Department of Agriculture has hosted the Governor’s Agricultural Summit at locations across South Dakota. This event brings together leaders in business, finance, education, government and production to discuss ways to harness the industry’s potential and learn more about the current challenges and opportunities happening for agriculture at local, regional and national levels.
Annie’s Project was designed to empower women by providing detailed farm/ranch management information and build networks between women. Over a six-week period, women will learn how to develop financial records, learn key communication skills, ask questions about retirement and estate planning and expand marketing knowledge.
