U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack is taking to Twitter. Vilsack will host the first “USDA Virtual Office Hours on Twitter” at 1:30 p.m. ET (2:30 p.m. Central) on Thursday, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Enderlin, ND (WDAY TV) - A farmer near Enderlin North Dakota is allowing researchers to use his field as their laboratory. The study called discovery farms is testing how much fertilizer is actually running off of fields; WDAY 6 Reporter Todd Kurtz has the story.
The Roger and Beverly Peterson farm, located off Highway 29 south of River Falls, will play host to Farm Technology Days July 20-22, 2010.
The three-day event, held in a different Wisconsin county each year, draws hundreds of commercial exhibitors and about 80,000 visitors.
