Potato stocks down in North Dakota

Potato stocks in North Dakota are down 13 percent from a year ago and 10 percent from 2008.

North Dakota crop stocks high

Stocks of wheat, corn, barley and sunflowers all are up dramatically in North Dakota. The federal Agriculture Department said all wheat stored in the state as of Sept. 1 totaled 367 million bushels, up 53 percent from the same period the previous year and at the highest level in 15 years.
