National Guard to help fight avian influenza
WILLMAR, Minn. -- The State Emergency Operations Center announced Sunday that 30 National Guard soldiers will haul water needed for avian influenza decontamination today through Wednesday. The soldiers will come from the 682nd Engineer Battalion in Willmar and the A Company, 134th Brigade Support Battalion of Brooklyn Park, according to a media release.
