Agweek's Mikkel Pates gets a special thank you
Agweek Staff Writer Mikkel Pates received an art-filled thank you note from Emily Gorder, 10, a fourth-grader who won a North Dakota ag poster contest, but had never been on a farm. After Pates' article was printed, Gorder received multiple invitations to see ag operations and this week, her class visited North Dakota State University to visit the school's livestock farms. Take a look at the letter Pates received from Gorder, thanking him for accompanying her class on the tour.
