Rancher death trial set to start Tuesday
The trial for a man charged with murder in the shooting death of a Williston, N.D., rancher is set to begin Tuesday in the Ward County Courthouse in Minot. Prosecutors believe Ryan Lee Stensaker, 33, of Williston shot 58-year-old Jack Sjol with a .300 caliber rifle in the head and chest in April of 2013. It’s possible that it was a hit ordered by the outlaw motorcycle gang the Sons of Silence, according to pretrial testimony in the case.
