  • The lobby of the former post office is a casual area adjacent to the bar complete with old wanted posters.
  • The postmaster’s office can seat up to 14 in a private dining room.
  • Even the old safe has been turned into a quaint dining room for three with a cork floor and wine cellar.
  • The door of the safe includes this seal.
  • The décor includes items related to the post office. Some of them were found during the remodeling process, others were tracked down on the Internet.
  • Many of the original historic features of the building have been retained including this mail slot.
  • This postal scale is one of many items reflecting the historic nature of the building. It is sitting on a penny bar created by Derek Evenson, son of the owner and the manager.
  • The Postmark Grille opened for business Dec. 26. It is a family business. From the left are Erica Schletty, daughter and front of the house manager, Russell Evenson, owner and chef, and Derek Evenson, son and manager. They are standing in the main dining room.
