  • The number of books on the shelves of the second floor of the library is limited by the floor’s load-bearing capacity. The floor would have to be reinforced to support a bigger book collection.
  • The front desk of the Hudson Area Library is a busy place, with patrons asking for help and checking out books and materials. The library has averaged 513 visitors a day for the first 11 months in 2012.
