Munitions parts

Fifty-five-gallon drums weighing more than 600 pounds were hauled out of Lake Superior in 1994. The barrels were lined with concrete and filled with boxes of munitions parts. They were trucked to Duluth from a Honeywell weapons plant in the Twin Cities in the late 1950s to the early 1960s. (File photo / Associated Press)
