Elsie Pierce, rural Hatton, N.D., examines the hole in the screen and glass in her upstairs bathroom window Sunday June 9, 2013 that she orginally thought was caused by a metorite. Pierce returned home recently to find glass on the floor , the window broken and a small rock in her hallway that later was identifed a a piece of granite.JOHN STENNES/GRAND FORKS HERALD
