Keeping it local


Steve Banks, right, of Marr Valve explains how the component parts of a device produced by the company are assembled to Montevideo High School instructor Brian Albers. Banks started his manufacturing career in the Twin Cities, but a desire to raise his children in a rural setting led him to Marr Valve. The company relies on a skilled, rural workforce to operate high-tech equipment to produce valves, regulators and other components for the equipment found in modern dental offices and medical settings.
