Potato slices, shingle style


Place about half the potato slices, shingle style, in a prepared pan, covering the bottom completely. Follow with a layer of carrots, arranging them the same way. Sprinkle onion slices, green beans and cabbage over the carrots, and finish with a layer of the remaining potatoes. Sue Doeden / Forum Communications
