Pictured is a 14-foot Mullins “Get There” duck boat (top) made in the 1890s by a boat builder who vowed to build an unsinkable boat out of sheet metal. Below it is a 13-foot “Lady of the Lakes” hunting skiff produced by Alexandria Boat Works in the early 1900s. Both are on display at the Minnesota Lakes Maritime Museum in Alexandria.
