Jerome Hoheisel, manager of the Central City Grain Elevator in Carrington, N.D., says his company is building a second large steel bin in 2014 – an 820,000-bushel capacity bin that is even larger than the 720,000-bushel steel bin it erected in 2012. One reason is to give the elevator more capacity to accommodate rail service uncertainties.
