Schollander

Schollander Pavilion is named for retired farmer/educator Art Schollander (right) who sold 166 acres to the Red River Valley Fairgrounds in 1967. His portrait – and that of his grandson, Donald A. Schollander, who won four Olympic gold swimming medals at the Olympics in Tokyo in 1964 – have hung in the building for 44 years.
