Corn is curling itself to survive droughty conditions at the Jeff and Jodi Knutson farm near Clear Lake, S.D. Knutson said that if he didn’t get significant rain within a week of this July 8 photo, it would probably not be able to make ears, and that he’d need to look at chopping it for a salvage crop.
