Daniel VonEye and daughter, Lori

Daniel VonEye Sr. of Flandreau, S.D., 61, always walks with a cane because of polio. He and his daughter, Lori Keith, 34, say he told U.S. Fish and Wildlife officers to leave his farmstead several times, declining to answer questions about a drainage cleanout project that his lawyer told them was legal. The VonEyes say one of the officers pushed him with one hand and another on his Taser, and a second time with both hands, saying, “We have more questions.”
