Protesting GM crops

Protesters display posters, as they pose on a 380 square meter '3D farm' artwork by world-famous pavement artist Kurt Wenner, in front of the European Commission headquarters in Brussels, Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010. Greenpeace and global web movement Avaaz, delivered the first ever Citizens' Initiative, against the use of GMO's, inspired by the Lisbon Treaty to European Commissioner for Health and Consumer Policy John Dalli. The Citizens' Initiative allows a million citizens from a significant number of EU member states to ask the European Commission to change European law. The panflets read:'1 Million citizens for GMO freeze'. (AP Photo/Yves Logghe)
