N.D. farms to get $5.5 million aid

Sens. Kent Conrad and Byron Dorgan and Rep. Earl Pomeroy, all D-N.D., announced today that North Dakota will receive $5.5 million from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Emergency Conservation Program for farmland damage caused by floods or other natural disasters from 2008 and 2009.
