N.D. may confirm swine flu cases
North Dakota may soon be able to confirm its own cases of swine flu. Probable state cases now must be confirmed by the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. North Dakota’s state epidemiologist, Kirby Kruger, said the state is getting equipment to do the confirmations in its own lab. He hopes it will be ready by mid-June.
