Producers with losses can get aid

BRAINERD, Minn. — Crop, livestock and other producers who have suffered losses from natural disasters this year will be eligible for government payments if they can prove that the losses occurred before Oct. 1, a key Agriculture Department official said at a meeting in Brainerd, Minn.
