UMC on track to cut ag ed program
The University of Minnesota-Crookston is expected to drop its agricultural education program at the end of the 2012 to ’13 school year, officials say. Anticipated state budget cuts force the school to save money, and eliminating the ag education program, though a painful move, has been deemed the fairest way of doing that, says Andrew Svec, UMC director of communications.By: Jonathan Knutson, Agweek
