Emerald ash borer found in Iowa

DES MOINES, Iowa — The emerald ash borer is in Iowa. The Iowa Department of Agriculture says the invasive insect, which kills ash trees, has been found along the Mississippi River in Allamakee (AL’-uh-muh-KEE’) County, just south of the Minnesota border.
