Ag committee votes for no budget cuts
WASHINGTON — The House Agriculture Committee voted unanimously March 3 to tell the House Budget Committee not to cut any agriculture programs in the fiscal year 2011 budget, but House Agriculture Committee Chairman Collin Peterson, D-Minn., said he still will move forward with his plan to consider cuts if Congress should go through the reconciliation process.By: Jerry Hagstrom, Special to Agweek
