Driver’s license rules are relaxed during area sugar beet harvest

Sugar beet truck crashes in the Red River Valley this week raise questions about the rules pertaining to who can and can’t drive the large trucks used in the beet harvest. One thing that may not be well-known: When it comes to harvest time, the normal rules go out the window.
