Man pleads guilty to Amtrak assault

A Fargo man pleaded guilty Monday to assaulting two Amtrak train conductors Friday after the westbound passenger train pulled out of Grand Forks.

Grand Forks police have identified two suspects in the expensive cognac theft Dec. 29 from the south end Happy Harry’s Bottle Shop. Lt. Jim Remer said Thursday he anticipates charges will be filed soon in the theft of a $2,600 bottle of Louis XIII cognac.
