Dialysis center construction in full swing

Construction is underway for DaVita Dialysis Center at 705 Park Ave. South. Plans call for the dialysis center to be open this spring. The center will add five to seven jobs, with room for expansion.

Osage sportsmen to host annual fishing derby Sunday

The Osage Sportsman’s Club will hold the annual Dorothy Noeske Memorial Fishing Derby from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24 on the Straight Lake Mill Pond in Osage. “We’re figuring out how to get all the snow pushed off the ice,” said Club President Allen Belt.

Toddlers dress to impress at Sweetheart Dance

Early Childhood Family Education hosted its third annual Sweetheart Dance Thursday at Frank White Education Center. Children danced the night away, snacked on goodies and went on a cookie walk to win prizes. Those who attended had a chance to participate in a “silently sweet” auction to benefit ECFE.
