Bales must be removed by Sunday
North Dakota farmers and ranchers have only about a week left to remove hay bales from roadside ditches.
BISMARCK (AP) — North Dakota farmers and ranchers have only about a week left to remove hay bales from roadside ditches.
The state Transportation Department said the deadline to remove bales from North Dakota rights of way is Sunday.
Officials said the bales need to be removed for snow management and safety reasons, and any that remain after Sunday will be removed.
