Camp Grassick picnic set

Elks Camp Grassick, the North Dakota Elks summer camp for children and adults with various disabilities and special needs, will be holding its annual “Camp Grassick Day” barbecue/picnic starting at noon Sunday. The camp is located five miles south of Dawson, N.D. Each year children and adults with special needs benefit from the therapy programs and other services offered by the camp.

Elks Camp Grassick, the North Dakota Elks summer camp for children and adults with various disabilities and special needs, will be holding its annual “Camp Grassick Day” barbecue/picnic starting at noon Sunday. The camp is located five miles south of Dawson, N.D. Each year children and adults with special needs benefit from the therapy programs and other services offered by the camp. This year, approximately 115 children and 80 adults from all across the state of North Dakota will benefit from programs being offered. All North Dakota Elks and their families are invited out to the camp to enjoy the barbecue, see its major project in operation and visit with the campers. The public is also invited to attend this free event.

A free picnic, musical entertainment and other activities are planned for the afternoon.
