NDFU plans crop marketing seminar

North Dakota Farmers Union is hosting a series of crop marketing seminars for producers. Participants will learn about marketing trends and strategies to capture the greatest return on their crops. An update on farm bill negotiations will also be presented.

North Dakota Farmers Union is hosting a series of crop marketing seminars for producers.

Participants will learn about marketing trends and strategies to capture the greatest return on their crops. An update on farm bill negotiations will also be presented.

Kent Beadle, market analyst for Country Hedging, will be the featured presenter. Country Hedging is a subsidiary of CHS, Inc.

Meetings are slated for: Mandan, March 25, Seven Seas, 9 a.m.; Minot, March 25, Grand International, 2:30 p.m.; Devils Lake, March 26, Spirit Lake Casino, 9 a.m.; Jamestown, March 26, NDFU State Office, 2 p.m.

“In this year of good crop prices, it is especially important that producers understand all their options,” said Robert Carlson, NDFU president.
