ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Farmers and politicians make their way to southwestern Minnesota this week for Farmfest, the annual agricultural show near Redwood Falls.
The expo runs Tuesday through Thursday at the Gilfillan Estate in Redwood County.
Events range from a buffalo chip throwing contest to panel discussions on climate change and the state of Minnesota's farming industry.
Elected officials including Gov. Tim Pawlenty and U.S. Rep. Tim Walz are expected to visit.
Farmfest organizers say the festival draws more than 35,000 visitors a year.
