Urban youth gardening program launched

FARGO – The Cass County Extension Service will soon offer an Urban Youth Gardening Program for youths ages 6 to 17.

FARGO – The Cass County Extension Service will soon offer an Urban Youth Gardening Program for youths ages 6 to 17.

Each participant will be given a 20-by-20 foot garden plot to plan, plant, maintain and harvest.

Garden groups will be assembled with one or more adult garden leaders who will provide gardening educational materials and counsel.

A $10 non-refundable fee is required per garden plot.
