Oakland currently leads the Summit League with a 7-0 record and has an 11-8 overall record, with six of its eight losses coming against No. 21 West Virginia 95-71, No. 14 Purdue 82-67, No. 23 Illinois 74-63, No. 17 Michigan State 77-76, Michigan 69-51 and No. 1 Ohio State 92-63. Oakland posted an 89-82 win over previously-ranked Tennessee.

It was the third largest crowd in Ralph Engelstad history, ranking behind the 11,986 fans that attended UND’s 5-3 win over the Gophers in 2003 and the 12,189 fans that saw UND lose to the Gophers 4-3 in 2002.
