North Dakota farmers are wrapping up the small grains harvest and turning their focus to row crops.

The Agriculture Department says in its weekly crop and weather report that a week of favorable weather aided producers.

Ninety-seven percent of the state's spring wheat crop and 89 percent of the durum is in the bin. Both harvests are slightly behind the average.

The report says North Dakota farmers have started harvesting sunflowers and corn. The soybean harvest is a little more than one-fourth done. Potatoes are 65 percent dug and sugar beets 37 percent lifted.
