58-year-old Madison man dies after being submerged by corn in bin

MADISON, Minn. — A 58-year-old man here was killed Monday when he got stuck in a grain bin in at a rural farm.

MADISON, Minn. — A 58-year-old man here was killed Monday when he got stuck in a grain bin in at a rural farm.

Emergency workers found Keith Hastad submerged in corn in the bin about 8 a.m., according to the Lac qui Parle Sheriff’s Office. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident is under investigation by the sheriff’s office.
