Stop the atrocity of NDSU pig experiments

In response to the North Dakota State University animal welfare article of Nov. 18 (Page C10):
Our universities shouldn’t be experimenting on animals. Animal experimentation should be abolished. Using live pigs for trauma training is wrong. Research that abuses animals isn’t justifiable.
I don’t respect our governor because I know he eats animals. People who eat animals usually rationalize animal experimentation. Praying to a meat-eating governor to intervene where live pigs are used for trauma training is futile.
There should be avenues that could be pursued to stop these ongoing atrocities. How many more pigs will be used in trauma training before the repercussions start occurring?
