Fire damages grain dryer in Buffalo, ND

BUFFALO, N.D. – A grain dryer containing beans was damaged by fire here late Wednesday.

BUFFALO, N.D. – A grain dryer containing beans was damaged by fire here late Wednesday.

Arson is not suspected in the fire, which was reported just before 9:30 p.m. and contained shortly after fire departments arrived on scene, according to Cass County Sheriff’s Deputy Joe Gress.

The dryer, owned by Arthur Companies, was unoccupied at the time of the fire on West Main Street.

The Buffalo and Tower City fire departments, Buffalo Area Quick Response Unit, Salvation Army, Casselton Ambulance and Burlington Northern railroad officials responded to the blaze.
