Finney re-elected to national ethanol group

Keith Finney of the North Dakota Corn Growers Association has been re-elected to the American Coalition for Ethanol board of directors.

Newly elected board members include: Randy Hahn, representing the Renewable Products Marketing Group; Ron Alverson, representing Dakota Ethanol; Russ Newman, representing Tharaldson Ethanol; and Kirk Schaunaman, representing the South Dakota Corn Utilization Council.

Hahn is chief executive officer of RPMG, an ethanol and co-products marketing firm in Shakopee, Minn., that is owned by 11 producer-owned ethanol plants.

Alverson is a farmer from Chester, S.D., and chairman of Lake Area Corn Processors, the co-op behind the Dakota Ethanol plant near Wentworth, S.D.

Newman is vice president of Tharaldson Ethanol near Casselton, N.D. and Schaunaman is a corn grower from Aberdeen, S.D.
