North Dakota State University is looking for 200 families to test new vegetable varieties.

The university is testing radish, spinach and other greens from across the world to find out which varieties are best for gardeners in North Dakota.

NDSU encourages families with kids to get involved. Most tests can be completed within 30 days.

To learn more about the project, go to www.dakotagardener.com. If you don’t have access to a computer, contact NDSU Educator Tom Kalb at (701) 221-6865 for a brochure.
