BISMARCK, N.D. — The North Dakota Grain Growers Association is hosting its annual environmental tour to showcase the environmental stewardship of North Dakota agriculture next week in Bismarck.

Seven members from the Environmental Protection Agency will be arriving in Bismarck June 23, and will spend three days touring central North Dakota farms and other agriculture-related businesses.

In addition to showcasing the state’s environmental stewardship, the tour hopes to better acquaint the EPA personnel with current technologies being used in the agriculture industry and to foster a better understanding of the EPA by North Dakota farmers.

The tour will start Monday evening with a reception in Bismarck with agricultural groups and organizations from across the state, and run through Friday morning.

For more information, please contact Dan Wogsland, executive director of the North Dakota Grain Growers Association, by phone at 701-282-9361 or by email at danw@ndgga.com.
