BISMARCK — A Bismarck man has taken holiday travel to a whole new level.
Jon Rask is spending three months in Antarctica as part of his work with NASA.
Rask says he is operating the South Pole Food Growth Chamber, which grows and produces food for the crews working in the South Pole.
He says Antarctica is a good place to learn about how people interact in extremely isolated and confined environments and probably one of the closest things a person can do on earth to experience what a space mission is like.
